Time Out says

Vieux Farka Touré is the son of late Malian bluesman Ali Farka Touré, but in no way does he linger in his famous father's shadow. Also featured on September 11 is Tuareg guitarist Bombino, who was brought over to Nashville by Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys to record his first album, Nomad, a funky fusion of traditional Berber sounds with American rock music.
