Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the life and legacy of one of the greatest musicians of all time at a new immersive, interactive Prince exhibit coming to Chicago this summer.

Prince: The Immersive Experience, presented by Superfly in partnership with The Prince Estate, will make its debut in Chicago on June 9. The sprawling interactive exhibit will feature more than 10 multidimensional spaces showcasing different elements of Prince's life, music and creative evolution. If you've ever wanted to recreate the Purple Rain album cover, you can do that at this exhibit. If you've ever wanted a fly-on-the-wall look at the hit creation process in Studio A in Prince's legendary Paisley Park compound, you can do that, too.

The Prince Estate will also provide a number of Prince's iconic wardrobe pieces, instruments, photographs and other ephemera of His Royal Badness; and the exhibit includes "an audiovisual dance party" designed by LeRoy Bennett, who served as Prince's lighting and production designer on the Purple Rain, Controversy and Dirty Mind tours.

Ready to party like it's 1999? Prince: The Immersive Experience runs June 9–October 9 at the Shops at North Bridge, 540 N Michigan Ave. Reserved timed entry tickets start at $39.50 and go on sale Thursday, March 31, at 10 am.
