1. Watch comedians give tongue-in-cheek PowerPoint presentations at Slide Show at the Hideout. The show starts at 9pm and tickets are $7.

2. Welcome spring at the Chicago Botanic Garden Orchid Show, which boasts more than 10,000 flowers in bloom. It’s open from 10am to 4pm and entry is $10.

3. There’s just a week left to see “Rodin: Sculptor and Storyteller” at the Art Institute. The museum is open from 10:30am to 5pm today, and the exhibit is included with admission.
