1. Join Time Out Chicago for our Ultimate Holiday Movie Series tonight. We’ll be screening National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation at Lagunitas at 7pm.

2. Take in the eerie work of photographer Svetlana Bailey at her exhibit “Once There Was There Wasn’t” at Filter Space in West Town. The gallery is open from 11am to 5pm and admission is free.

3. Head out to the ‘burbs for Illumination: Tree Lights at Morton Arboretum. It opens at 4:30pm, and adult tickets are $12–$20.
