1. Summer street festival season is officially underway, with Lakeview’s Mayfest leading the charge. Head to Ashland and Barry for your first summer fix of cheap beer, cover bands and food on sticks. The festival is open from 10am to 10pm, and there’s a $10 suggested donation for entry.

2. Pucker up with a selection of tart Belgian Lambics and American sours at Delilah’s annual Sour Beer Fest. Admission is $20 for 20 sample tickets, and the event runs from noon to 5pm.

3. There’s not much story to Buddy—The Buddy Holly Story, a rote stage biography that’s more like a tribute concert with occasional scenes. But as tribute concerts go, American Blues Theater’s production is a phenomenally good time. Today’s performance is at 2:30pm, and this week the show announced an extension that will keep it running into September; tickets are $19–$49.
