1. Catch the dreamy Australian dance-pop quartet Cut Copy at the Riviera Theatre, touring behind their 2017 release Haiku From Zero. Tickets for the 8pm show are $30.

2. The 34th annual Chicago Latino Film Festival kicks off today, bringing two weeks’ worth of new movies from Latin America, Spain, Portugal and the United States to the AMC River East 21 multiplex. Admission for most screenings is $10–$13, and 12-film “passports” are available for $110.

2. This year’s Taste of Iceland in Chicago is extra sweet, as Iceland marks 100 years of independence in 2018. The mini-festival kicks off today with a prix fixe Icelandic dinner menu available at Baptiste and Bottle and a free discussion of Icelandic architecture and design at the Merchandise Mart. The latter takes place from 6pm to 8pm tonight; other events continue through Sunday.

For more events, check in with Time Out throughout the day.
