Prysm was the only major club in Chicago that I have not been to. I finally made it out when my friend was hosting an event there. Before going, I knew that this was the type of place I would only go to if I knew someone with a table. I was absolutely correct. There wasn't much of a dance floor and the DJ was not that great. I will say, I am happy the MID built this club. A lot of the patrons of the MID that were not there for the music have shifted to Prysm. I don't think I will be back unless Avicii is booked there.

I went to Prysm Friday night to see Kinglade and had a great time! Honestly, most of the fun was due to meeting the group and hanging out with them backstate. IT WAS NUTS. Trying to get into the club was totally annoying. People who had purchased tickets to the show had to wait at the front door for no apparent reason... I know security is necessary at a club, it just seems disorganized and inefficient. That being said, great times were had once we made it in. I don't think I'd go out of my way to return, but it was a cool venue for a good DJ.
