At this cheerful mom-and-pop decorated with photos of the nearby Uptown Theater, there’s a little cognitive dissonance in seeing Lebanese fare offered alongside Indian specials. But go with the flow and you’ll see the charms of washing your falafel down with a housemade blueberry lassi. Vegetarians fare especially well here, as the falafel are fresh and nicely spiced, the dolmas are tart, and there’s a meatless special each day (usually a simple stew or curry). Carnivores with light wallets will appreciate chicken kebab sandwiches at such modest prices.
