Buried inside the corporate-feeling decor and counter-service setup of this South Loop café is the soul of an old, family-owned Greek diner. The name is the first clue: This is a second location of the South Michigan Avenue staple. The food—plate-size omelettes served all day, beef-and-lamb gyros, club sandwiches—is another indication. But the giveaway is the service, which is a person-to-person art, not a focus-grouped science.
