While many places offering “housemade gelati” start with factory-made mixes, here they serve fresh, high-quality gelati and sorbetti. Try the Venetian berry carnivale, double Dutch chocolate or pistachio by itself or in a delicious gelato sandwich on cookies or brioche. The Turkish-coffee gelato is an eye-opener and goes well with their made to order panini sandwiches (served Thursday–Sunday). For another jolt, try the affogato, a shot of espresso over gelato.
