Bare-bones doesn’t even begin to describe the look of this place—the only decoration on the walls is the menu. But whatever energy the owners have saved on not decorating, they’re putting into the quick-service Korean food. Bibimbop with sweet kalbi arrives in a plastic takeout bowl (every order here is packaged for takeout, since few customers stick around to eat), but its surprisingly fresh components (crisp bean sprouts, well-cooked rice, freshly fried egg) belie the fast-food packaging. The same can’t be said of the chicken wings, unfortunately (they’re served in Styrofoam and are exactly what you’d expect), so go Korean or go home.
