Stop by midday for chef Judy Contino’s acclaimed pastries and desserts, and chances are you’ll pull up a chair in the tiny, charming bakery café for lunch. You won’t go wrong with any of the handful of rotating daily menu options, such as carrot jalapeño soup, spinach ricotta quiche or tuna-salad sandwich. But make no mistake—it’s all just a precursor to that beautiful meringue tart or the delicious ice cream scooped out into chocolate-lined Chinese takeout containers (try the intense chocolate almond).

My mom used to get a lot of special occasion goodies, thete. Since she, passed it is a bittersweet memory!!!
is a great bakery located in the lakeview neighborhood. It has a French like vibe and atmosphere to it. They offer counter service, order ahead and table service. They carry a wide variety of pastry and baked goods. I ordered the cheese cake tart that was very creamy and tasty. The house blend coffee doesn't disappoint either. The little gift shop area in the front is unique to bakeries in the area too. There you can pick out little gifts and things related to any sort of event that you may be having. My favorite part of my experience at Bittersweet was the staff and customer service. For that alone I will definitely be coming back!
