Brisku's Bistro

This somewhat amorphous place has a bar feel, but the food is far better than any mere watering hole could dish out. Plates of curried chicken, bacon-wrapped scallops, drunken calamari and pizzas are not only killer and generously sized but cheap to boot. Brisku’s is also very active in its Irving Park neighborhood, providing an outlet for local bands (Saturday nights bring out the headbangers) and supporting local softball teams, dance troupes and indie filmmakers on the hunt for reasonable catering.
