I went to Broken English on Taco Tuesday for the $2 tacos, $6 margs and $7 sangria. The margs were very strong and delicious, as was the sangria. The tacos were okay, not horrible but very basic.
The guacamole was AMAZING. Probably one of the best I have had and it came out very quickly. The service was great even though they were pretty slammed. I saw a lot of people ordering burritos and quesadillas so I want to go back and try those out.
Overall, great place to go with friends and the atmosphere is fantastic. They also have a small outdoor area which is really cute and a small game room. Definitely a fun place to get some cheap eats on a Tuesday or just get some quick bites with a friend.
I made the excellent choice of checking out Broken English on Taco Tuesday and during Happy Hour. The deals were fantastic! $6 margs and $2 tacos - how can you beat it?!?
I tried the Frosé Sangria - which was fine, but perhaps a little too sweet for me (I probably should've expected that). I also had al pastor de pollo and carnitas tacos which were both FANTASTIC - I would order them again in a heartbeat. I was hoping to try the fried chicken taco, but sadly it wasn't included in the Taco Tuesday promotion (I didn't see any signage labeling what was or wasn't included unfortunately). I was also disappointed that chips and salsa weren't included, but had to be ordered with guacamole.
All that being said though, I would definitely go back and recommend it to friends. The restaurant is MUCH larger than I realized from the outside and there's plenty of patio or patio adjacent seating to enjoy the good weather.
