Brunch restaurant

Not content to limit the early-morning experience to a mere meal, this River North restaurant also offers a private meeting room, a shoe shine and pastries from Bennison's Bakery to go. On the breakfast route (a ho-hum skillet with eggs, pancetta and goat cheese; successful "brunch sliders" of bacon and sausage on ciabatta served with crisp and fluffy breakfast potatoes) or the lunch one (open-face chicken- and egg-salad sandwiches), portions are large enough for a linebacker and tasty enough for, well, us.

Brunch is exactly what you think it is. The food is good but the service has been a bit odd each time (3 total) I've been there. I've watched two waitresses argue, one waitress complain to a customer about the manager etc. The food is good but I'm all about atmosphere and I'm thrown off easily by the service.
