Butterfly Sushi and Thai Cuisine

This offshoot of the popular Butterfly on Grand serves a similar Thai/Japanese menu (think curries, noodles and sushi) in a dining room with a similar color palette (think monarch butterflies). The orange lights render much on the plate an unfortunate shade of gray, but if you can get past that, the food is, for the most part, a reliable bet. Stick to the basics—fresh yellowtail rolls, a hearty pad thai (for a twist, order it with wide rice noodles), steaming udon and tom yum soups—and you'll go home happy.

I love this place because it is good, cheap, and BYOB!! The sushi isn't incredible but above mediocre. The environment is similar to other wallet friendly asian fusion joints... nice but a tiny bit kitschy. The service is good. I haven'd had any bad experiences.

For sushi in the city, this is my go to. Their rolls aren't amazinggg but it is pretty good at a great price. their fried rice is incredible and sometimes I just order that. I would definitely recommend to everyone who is in the area who is craving sushi. It's BYOB which is also a plus!

This place is my own stop shop for sushi, thai, asian flair dinner.  They have everything.  I LOVE the panang curry with the wide noodles and tofu.  Its cheap as heck.  Fast delivery.  Consistent.  They have pretty decent sushi...not the best I have ever had but convenience kills when you also have a hankering for some thai food.  LOVE!
