What does a Brendan Sodikoff coffee shop look like? Exactly what you’d expect—there are Doughnut Vault doughnuts, espresso drinks and Rare Tea Cellar teas, plus boozy steamers, spiked steamed milk drinks last seen on the menu at Dillman’s, Sodikoff’s now-closed Jewish deli concept. The nutty Scotch & Honey is made with Famous Grouse, almond and honey, and it’s just as enjoyable to sip it while perusing the art books stacked around the cafe as it is after dinner. The space, located behind the California Clipper, which Sodikoff owns as well, has a Bohemian vibe, with mismatched furniture, but a humidor and bourbon bar keep this place feeling like a Sodikoff joint.

Popped in here to work one day as I love exploring new coffee shops. It's like sitting inside an old vintage/antique shop. The coffee was great, but the one barista that was working seemed annoyed that we were there, but was more than welcoming to select customers, which was weird. Not a lot of natural light but definitely a unique place to escape if it's crappy weather out and you want a change of atmosphere.

Adorable cafe in what seems to be an up-and-coming area of town. Eclectic, vintage vibe and super-friendly service. The cappuccino I ordered was perfection--the signature roast exclusively for C.C. Ferns, by Metropolis roasters was excellent. I agonized over my pastry selection from Donut Vault and decided on the ham & cheese croissant--this thing was amazing! Creamy (bechamel?) and supremely flaky exterior. I entered this place to kill time, but I'll be back specifically for the amazing service quaint decor and delicious coffee/pastries.

Fantastic coffee shop! It's my go to for coffee on the weekends. The space is beautifully decorated and feels very home-like.  I'd definitely try out their boozy coffees, which are really well done. They also always have fresh donuts but you have to get there early!
