Cafe Mustache

The owners of this Logan Square coffee shop could have stopped after arranging some mismatched vintage furniture and hooking up free Wi-Fi. The ramshackle look of this bright place makes it a natural lingering den for the neighborhood’s hipsters. Fortunately, those owners took the next step, providing simple, Chicagocentric offerings, such as mellow java from Bridgeport Coffee Company, ice cream from local artisans Nice Cream, baked goods from Bleeding Heart Bakery and a smattering of local records for sale.

Cafe Mustache is a great stop in Logan Square whether you're looking to caffeinate or order a beer, as there are essentially two totally separate spaces. It's also known for open mic nights and other special events. It's a great place to just sit at the bar and hang out. You always feel welcome.

Quaint coffee shop, good coffee and sandwiches, great atmosphere. My only complaint is it can get super cramped when it's at capacity and you might be stuck listening to the dross of the Tinder date two feet away from where you're seated. Otherwise, no complaints!
