Time Out says

Check out the Davis Theater's casual, upscale bar and restaurant in the adjacent space. Moviegoers can eat and drink in the Carbon Arc, and/or bring their meals into the theater itself. You'll find simple, efficient cocktails; after all, folks have movies to get to. Like the movie theaters themselves, the drinks are classic, with a modern twist. Take the New Dirty, for example, a dirty martini with pickle juice instead of olive juice. The cocktail menu is divided into three categories: Timeless, Updated Classics, and Original Screenplay. (Get it?) One theater has a window directly to the Carbon Arc Bar, so patrons can order mid-screening. It'll be closed (with blackout shutters) during most film screenings, but will be available during the Davis's alternative screenings (like sports and live events).

Fantastic way to brunch. My kids loved being able to watch cartoons in the theater. Service was excellent! I felt comfortable letting my kids be kids; which is never the case in restaurants. Food was good. It was perfect for the kids and for the adults. Totally an excellent experience!

The combination of the Carbon Arc and Davis Theater is an absolute knock out! The Carbon Arc is designed to tie in with the history of the Theater but also has some modern accommodations like the tvs. The drink is solid, nothing over the top but more along the line of what you would expect from a place like this. The food was great and clearly made from scratch...especially the smoked gouda mac and cheese. The best part is you can take some of the food and your drinks over to the theater! If you're on a time crunch, they have specific foods that they can make quickly.

This is a great spot for date night, birthday party, or even a company event. I'm excited to see this in the neighborhood!
