We hope Suzy Crofton likes the clean, contemporary look of her restaurant, because as owner, manager, sommelier and chef, she spends a lot of time here. Her seasonal American cooking has inspired a couple of dishes that regulars won’t let her take off the menu, like the jumbo lump crab cake, and her smoked-apple chutney is so popular it's sold by the jar. The service is some of the most attentive in the city, and they know to steer you toward fleeting specials to get them before they're gone.
