Donuts from do-rite donut

Chances are good that when you walk into this tiny, morning-only doughnut shop from Lettuce Entertain You, you’ll find people milling about, waiting for the bacon doughnuts to be ready. You can join them if you want. But you’ll be just as happy if you go for the yeasty, puffy cinnamon crunch doughnut, or the massive, crunchy old-fashioned, or the cakey, classic chocolate-frosted. Those doughnuts are just as good as any other here, plus, you’ll get your hands on them a whole lot faster.

GO! NOW!!!!! These are by far the BEST old fashions! Crisp on the outside, smooth & buttery on the inside. Just right on the sweetness. HEAVEN! Yes, yes, yes...I've been to all the other staples. This is by far my favorite one. You can pre order and pick up which is nice and they are open on Sunday's!!! Double bonus!!!

Do-Rite is my favorite doughnut shop in the city. They have a lot of delicious and thick cake like doughnuts, but my personal favorite is their fluffy classic the plain glazed doughnut. Added bonus is that they are extra large, all the more to enjoy!

The dough's the thing here: denser than your wafer-light Krispy Kreme style, but still golden, fluffy and sweet. There are some extravagant flavors, but I tend to favor a simple chocolate number. Or two.

You could easily walk right by this little shop tucked away on Randolph St, but pop under the red awning and get your hands on the fresh made doughnuts here. The gluten free doughnuts here are also great, but the number available are a bit more limited so get in line early for one of these.
