Downstate Donuts

This Uptown shop does things a bit differently, using potatoes as the base for its soft and creamy donuts. The signature vanilla sour cream donut is always a crowd pleaser, but other enticing flavors include Thai peanut butter, Japanese pancake with maple glaze and triple berry jam, and miso honey butter—all made with fresh and local ingredients. If you can’t make it to the brick-and-mortar location, they also sell bite-sized Donut Tots at Foxtrot Markets.
