When Sunday morning finds you cranky and in desperate need of coffee (read: hungover), the wait for a table at nearby Lula can seem like cruel punishment. That’s when this handy standby comes in. The grace and sophistication of Lula’s food might be missing, but the thick and hearty oatmeal pancakes become surprisingly dreamy with a slathering of maple butter; the salmon (smoked in-house) is thick, meaty and smoky-sweet; and the Irish breakfast pairs delicious sausage with a pint of Guinness. The best part: there’s no wait—at least not yet.
