Time Out says

To celebrate its fifth birthday, Eataly is hosting an epic five-hour bash with discounts, plenty of wine, free classes, live music and giveaways galore. On the vino front, guests can sip $5 glasses of wine from the first-floor counters and a roaming wine cart. If you're dining at any of the Italian superstore's restaurants, cash in with "buy one, get one for $5" on select bottles. Additional $5 deals will be scattered around the market and include some pastries and sweets, salumi and formaggi boards, kids pizzas and more.

Looking for a freebie? From noon to 5pm, Eataly will host gratis classes in its Tasting Lab on the second floor so that visitors can learn how to make fresh mozzarella and hand-made pasta. Additionally, complimentary wine and panettone tastings will be available throughout the store throughout the day. At 5pm, Eataly will wrap up the event with a very special birthday surprise—you'll have to be there to experience it for yourself.
