This new Wicker Park taqueria is built to meet the day’s succession of cravings: chilaquiles and fresh juices for breakfast, decent tacos (al pastor, asada, chorizo) for lunch, enormous pounded-thin grilled skirt steaks (carne a la tamiqueña) for dinner, and—most important—fried potato tacos (mashed potato in a corn tortilla, the entirety of which is dunked in a fryer) for 99 cents from 10pm–2am on Fridays and Saturdays.
