We love restaurants that are amenable to feedback, but this sushi restaurant took that idea to an extreme when it opened without a name, instead hosting a contest in which any random person could submit ideas. Yet even the decisions that Enso has made for itself feel like a haphazard attempt to serve something for everyone: The menu ranges from a dish called “Karma Sutra” that uses ramen noodles as the base for a bacon-heavy carbonara to super-sweet pork-belly bao sandwiches to entrées like seared trout…and that’s before we even get to the wide selection of mediocre maki. Sometimes, the crowd hath little wisdom.
