Time Out says
Owner Jim Andrews has an edgy sense of humor, that’s for sure. And there’s no doubt, either, that his providing on-the-job training for ex-offenders at his hot-dog stand is a much-needed and respectable undertaking. Whether you’ll be entertained by the coyly named eats (Misdemeanor Weiners, Probation Burgers) and theatrical service (you’ll be asked “Are you ready to plead your case?” when you step up to the Plexiglas divider) is another story. But here’s what’s not up for debate: The Chicago-style dogs (supplied by Red Hot Chicago) are merely satisfactory; the fast-food style burgers are vastly improved with the addition of bacon; and Objection Onion Rings, generously battered and fried to a crisp, will actually garner no objections at all.
