At this national churrascaria chain, you start your meal with a visit to the massive salad bar. With the amount of roasted vegetables, composed salads, cold pasta creations and various cheeses on offer, you could get confused and think this is a vegetarian’s dream—but then comes the vegetarian’s nightmare. After the salad course you’re hit with an onslaught of “gaucho chefs,” South American–styled servers with an endless supply of roasted meats on skewers. Trust us—you don’t want to fill up on bread.

One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. Not only did the meats have great flavor and were cooked perfectly but the cold bar was just as good. They had an awesome variety of food and if you want to save a bit of money you can go during lunch hour. It is a great place to go out for a date night then walk around the city afterwards.
