This haven for true Italian gelato serves astonishingly creamy scoops that surge with flavor. Owner Giuseppe “Joe” Quercia—who emigrated from Naples, Italy, in 1968—makes the rotating 15 flavors with 14% milk and no eggs. It’s tough to go wrong with any flavor, but we’re addicted to the frutti di bosco (vanilla with wildberries), the Nocciola (hazelnut) and the refreshing limoncello (although if the basil is on offer, don’t miss at least a taste). Bonus: Dairy-free folks have more than a dozen Italian ice flavors to choose from.
