The last days to ride the Navy Pier ferris wheel are upon us, before they shut the ride down to put a new ferris wheel up. To celebrate, Navy Pier is putting on a weekend of excitement to show off the ferris wheel. On Saturday, September 26, the Pier will give free rides from 10pm-9:45am, all night long on the ferris wheel. On Sunday, Chicagoans can share their last rides on the ferris wheel with a final fireworks show in the background.
All weekend long, 17 of Navy Pier's mainstays and nine new restaurants will be passing out free tastes of their food, including Big City Chicken, DMK Burger Bar and Goddess and the Baker.
