The Sorano family behind Letizia’s and Enoteca Roma has combined elements of those two spots into one Logan Square restaurant. The comfortable back room, decorated with flower pots, is the perfect place to settle in with an oversize ciambelle (Italian doughnut) and cappuccino. For those who need something more substantial, a small but satisfying menu of hearty snacks, such as piaddini (light, flatbread-like sandwiches) and Roman-style pizza, provide sustenance. Our pick: a giant arancino, a fried risotto ball with fillings like sautéed mushrooms, and a cup of one of the warming housemade soups.

I was totally blown away by this place. One of my favorite meals so far has been the homemade pasta at Letizia's Fiore (I still dream about it). You'll also want to try the fried sicilian risotto balls. Sit outside, have a glass of wine, enjoy great service, and maybe even play a little bocce ball afterward. Added bonus: there's a speakeasy-style bar within steps so you can make a night of it.
