The Wicker Park location of this coffeehouse/café is called Lovely: A Bake Shop, which suggests the place is first and foremost a bakery. Maybe that’s how they see it, but we find the housemade pastries at this slick and sunny café (croissants, muffins, cookies, coffee cakes) merely serviceable. Better to stick with one of the sandwiches, such as the one stuffed full of herbaceous roasted vegetables.
