For edginess, look elsewhere. Here, expect fresh seafood and meat, and excellent ingredients honorably prepared. The scallops are food zine–photo perfect, plump and tenderly browned; rich, moist pork tenderloin comes blanketed with refreshing fruit salsa. Vegetarians may feel left out (although the Caesar salad is crunchy and garden-fresh), but they can get their dose of starch with a side of the sweet-potato curls. For dessert, be a kid again and try the amazingly comforting root-beer float.
