Time Out says

This sunny joint helps kick-start the day with baked goods and specialty coffees, but it’s the basic sandwiches gussied up with impeccable ingredients that get us in the afternoon. Our favorites: the BLT made with extra-thick bacon and the juicy, rosemary-and-thyme–encrusted roast beef. The weekend crowd can be a bitch, so be prepared to either fight your way to the front of the line or just head home with a bag of the café’s signature granola.

I went here for a book club brunch a few weeks ago and really liked it. It's good for groups too, because you pay separately at the counter (although make sure they don't take away your number too soon!). I had an appetite that morning (as usual) and so I ordered the black bean burger and the butterscotch pancakes, lol. The pancakes were delightful--very decadent and satisfying. The burger was also good and had a nice spicy bite to it. I usually always go to the same haunts for brunch, but this was a nice change in routine.
