Miss Ricky's

The funky first-floor diner is the best place to eat at the Virgin. The all-day menu includes breakfast, so props for that, especially since it includes Ina Pinkney’s Heavenly Hots pancakes from the shuttered Ina’s, and salty-sweet chicken and waffles with sriracha honey. There’s a diner counter, a back room that can be turned into a private space, a serviceable club sandwich, and a gooey crab and shrimp dip that made a great late-night snack. Skip the watery Bloody Mary and sip the creamy, balanced Main Street, which includes tequila, Campari, cream soda and passionfruit. Miss Ricky's is open late and screens silent old movies on the wall. It’s not a bad place to end the night, whether you’re staying in the hotel or not.

Came here on a Sunday evening and it was completely dead. We were literally the only other guests in the restaurant. And yet, the service was incredibly slow. Even when the server came and cleared our table, he forgot to come back and bill us.Why? The football game on the big screen tv was more interesting. All the tvs in this spot felt out of place and clashed garishly with the plush decor of the restaurant. The food was ok but nothing to write home about.

Cute spot, extremely friendly and helpful staff.  My friend and I both ordered Old Fashion's which were very good.  Started with the Chicken and Waffles very tasty to top it off the syrup is infused with sriracha HELLO??!!! Truly enjoyed the sweet and spicy flavors, only issue chicken portion could have been a little more.  Next up Steak and Frites both very flavorful and the steak was cooked to perfection!  After that we headed up to Cerise the roof top bar and took in the amazing view and had another bevvy!
