Originally the restaurant was named el rebozo, chef Francisco Lopez known as chef Paco took over the restaurant and changed the name to New Rebozo. The word "rebozo" is translated as a women's shawl traditionally worn by women in Mexico. Shawl holds the symbol of love and passion for the food. This is embraced by Chef Paco and the staff through the commitment in quality of food and service.
