This coffee shop/deli is the product of a mother/daughter team, which makes a lot of sense when you see the place: Decked out in warm wood tones and hand-painted inspirational quotes, it sort of feels like a big childhood bedroom. That familial feeling extends to the sandwiches, which are simple and homey. Pair one with a cup of coffee (it’s a good cup), or sub a sandwich for a croissant (those are good, too) and take a seat in a booth. It may not be the best lunch you ever had, but it will certainly be one of the coziest.
