Started by CEO Gregg Majewski—who was instrumental in the Jimmy John’s sandwich chain—this local burger shack hopes to bring its Black Angus burgers, soft brioche buns and thick chocolate-peanut-butter shakes to all corners of the country. Maybe that accounts for the streamlined menu—burgers, fries, shakes and breakfast egg sandwiches are the only items on offer. But the things it is cooking it's cooking well: Burgers are thick and juicy, piled with fresh toppings and flanked by tasty (if McDonald’s-ish) fries.
