Now an old timer in the cupcake business, this shop recently moved a block north and expanded its repertoire to include savory food. But don’t come here thinking it’s the next Café Selmarie. The tiny space is dominated by the bakery case, which is filled not just with cupcakes anymore, but also cinnamon rolls (iced with buttercream) and oversize muffins and scones, and the service is still (perfectly friendly) counter service. In other words, this remains mostly a sweets spot, though the sandwiches (panini-style riffs on grilled cheese) are a nice touch.
