There’s not a whole lot to look at in this sparse dining room, but here’s one thing worth noting: the raw kebabs, rife with fresh herbs and black pepper, sitting in the refrigerated case below the cash register. It’s the freshness of these kebabs (particularly the juicy chicken), placed on the charcoal grill to order, that makes this place stand out from other Middle Eastern spots in town. (The perfectly seasoned beef shawarma and the bright and smoky baba ghanoush don’t hurt, either.)
