    Pork chop sandwich

While we like the idea—a thick chop, mustard, caramelized onions—the pork was a little dry and the bun was too weak to hold everything together.

Available: Grill Stands in center field and sections 122, 140, 524

    Ultimate turkey club, $12

Turkey, bacon, jack cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion and apricot chili aioli are piled onto seven-grain wheat bread. This is a perfectly fine turkey sandwich, though the apricot chili is a tad sweet.

Available: Xfinity Zone Bar and Carvery in section 107

    Bacon Mac and Cheeseburger, $12.95

The burgers available on the upper levels of the Cell are very good—they're beefy and the bun keeps it together. The addition of mac and cheese and bacon is a lot, but we can't say we wouldn't get this again if someone invited us to the club level.

Available: Club Level, Diamond Suite or Stadium Club

    Supreme Corned Beef, $12

With jalapeno-ranch cole slaw, Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing on marbled rye, this is a corned beef sandwich we'd get again.

Available: Xfinity Zone Bar and Carvery in section 107

    Banana Split Sundae Helmet, $17

The three-pound banana split is made with four scoops each of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream, then topped with caramel sauce, strawberry sauce, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, cherries and bananas. It's massive, and designed for 3-4 people, but during our tasting, we learned that one person did put away an entire one by themselves. Props.

Available: Club Level, Diamond Suite or Stadium Club

    Chicken and Waffle Sandwich, $10

This is a smart one: Although the chicken was a little overdone, the breading was light and crisp and the waffles were brushed with honey butter and maple syrup. The whole thing was salty and sweet, and it's clear why this is the top seller amongst the new items at the club level.

    Bacon-on-a-Stick, $5

This is exactly what it looks like: two thick slices of peppery bacon served on a stick. Not only was this good bacon, but it's genius stadium food: cheap, portable and tasty.

Available: Burger Barn locations in sections 112 and 528

Ranking the new White Sox stadium food

The new items at the White Sox stadium include three-pound helmet sundaes, chicken and waffle sandwiches, and bacon on a stick

When the baseball season kicked off this year, we were less interested in reading how Adam Dunn and the White Sox would fare and more interested in reading about their new food items: giant helmet sundaes, pork chop sandwiches, bacon on a stick. So we recently headed to U.S. Cellular Field to try the new items available. Here are seven new items, arranged in order from "eh, we probably wouldn't get this again" to "we'll take six."
