If you're craving a budget-friendly, no-nonsense dog or burger, there’s no better place to go than Redhot Ranch. Known for their depression-style dogs with yellow mustard, onions, sport peppers and fries atop the hot dogs, there’s a reason Redhot Ranch has been a staple for 20 years. They know not to mess with the classics. There’s plenty of room to sit in their Lakeview location (and a bathroom, which is actually a notable qualifier when compared to most hot dog stands). This place is cash-only, so keep that in mind if you plan to make a trip. Don’t worry though, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more affordable meal anywhere, as a dog and fries will only set you back about $5.
