This neighborhood spot underwent a face-lift to get rid of tangerine walls, industrial carpeting, a low drop ceiling and the unsettling walk through the kitchen to reach the restroom. Now, there’s a giant space (it expanded into the next-door storefront) with soaring ceilings, eclectic artwork, a new “kushi bar” (skewered meats and veggies) and, thankfully, the same great sushi. Still reliably delicious are the fresh and crunchy dragon roll and the spicy sweet potato maki.
