You’ll find the usual staples at this Greektown mainstay, from spreads like tzatziki and taramasalata to gyros platters and moussaka. There are twists here and there (you can order the requisite flaming saganaki studded with shrimp), but not much will surprise you. To us, the biggest draw is the service. From the host with a genuine smile who sat our party to the fatherly waiter who made wonderful wine suggestions and nudged us to finish the food on our plates, we felt as if we were in caring hands throughout our entire meal—a refreshing change from the snippy service we’ve received at other restaurants on this strip.
