Typically, we’d tell the server to save the speech, but here, it’s somehow still charming when the bubbly girl “from da neighborhood” explains how the namesake owners Roseanne and Salvatore came to open their Little Italy spot. Cozy cuteness aside, the food’s among the best on the Taylor Street strip. Start with the lightly charred but tender grilled calamari; get a pasta course of big, fat garlicky shrimp tossed with shells and broccoli; and go for the veal saltimbocca with a side of spinach for the main event.

I've been eating here since I was 5 years old. The owners have done a wonderful job of creating an environment that feels like home. My favorite way to enjoy RoSal's food is to order several entrees for the table and share with one another, family-style...because how could you decide on just one dish?! Everything is cooked to order, so they are able and willing to accommodate any requests to personalize your dish or work with different dietary restrictions. Do yourself a favor: bookmark this Little Italy Gem, and make it your next stop for an evening out with friends or loved ones.

RoSal's embodies everything ITALIAN. Fantastic and authentic Italian fare and excellent service. A must experience restaurant every single time you visit Chicago!

My family has been coming to RoSal's for over 20 years. We have had family gatherings, birthday celebrations and many events here. The food is amazing! The service is top notch too!

Old time, traditional Italian food. Made fresh daily,by the owners/chef's.
One of the oldest in the community. It just shows it takes more than a name to keep any business going for all these years. CONGRATULATIONS

A place where you always feel welcome, like part of the family! Great Food, Great Service and Great People! A perfect combination.
