The food coming out of the kitchen at this Devon eatery is indeed heading two ways: Tandoor-grilled meat kebabs and other Northern Indian classics beeline through a hallway to the adjacent sibling spot Viceroy, while vegetarian South Indian eats are showcased here under the newer moniker Sagar. Technically, you can order Viceroy’s menu here as well, but the draw is really the impressive dosas, from the spinach-slathered, three-foot-long palak masala dosa to the lacy cream-of-wheat version dubbed “rava.” With the excellent coconut chutney and vegetable-dal sambar soup alongside, it’s a meal in itself.
