If your idea of Mexican food leans toward Tex-Mex classics like chile relleno, fajitas and queso fundido, you should be right at home at this sit-down spot in Willis Tower. Most of the salsas served with the housemade chips are mild and “meh,” but the smokier chipotle version packs a nice punch. Massive platters of decent marinated skirt steak and grilled chicken come with lardy refried beans and red rice, as well as the requisite shredded iceberg, sour cream and guac. For something a bit more interesting, the spinach chicken enchiladas fit the bill. But for a real thrill, sit outside, make it a margarita-lunch and enjoy the view of the adjacent parking garage and the wail of downtown traffic.
