I fell in love with sweetgreen when I visited a friend at Georgetown in Washington D.C. back in 2008. I am so happy it's in Chicago now! I am not the type of person to crave a salad; I rarely eat salads and don't usually enjoy them when I do. However, the salads here are really, truly delicious. sweetgreen uses unique ingredients that balance the sweet and the savory, the soft and the crunchy, tossing it all together at the end (KEY) so each bite is equally delicious. At $12 a pop, they're a tad pricey for an everyday lunch, but I definitely enjoy them at least once a week.

Yummy lunch spot. I usually pick up and take out. It gets busy at lunch but the line moves fast. I have tried a bunch of salads and liked them all. My favorite is the Shroomami or Harvest bowl. They also have seasonal salads that come and go. It is kind of expensive for a salad but worth it in my opinion. Lots of GF options.
