Family reigns at this Bridgeport taco mainstay, from the multigenerational Solis clan that runs the joint to the extended families from the neighborhood that lumber in for a cheap dinner with no fuss. Step to the counter and order a slew of reliable classics, including solid tacos al pastor, guisado stew and greaseless chicken flautas, best when doused in the standout housemade salsa. There’s plenty of room to spread out and take your time, but this is simple (if unremarkable) food, probably best enjoyed post–Sox game to soak up one-too-many seventh-inning beers.
