Lovingly known as "The Tamale Guy" by locals, Velez used to sling cornhusk-wrapped handhelds from a red cooler at the city's best dive bars. Now he's got his own brick-and-mortar restaurant in West Town so that you can get your tamal fix day or night. Choose from fan-favorite fillings like pork, chicken or queso con rajas and toss in some merch while you're at it.
